Popular philanthropist Roland donate to churches and their members.
●●●Giving cheerfully is a biblical injunction expected to be adhered to by christians.
This injunction is apparently yielding the desired results in Bayelsa State as a former NYCN Vice chairman, Bayelsa Central, Comrade Roland Suoba is trying his level best in reaching out to his people in cushioning the impact of the hardship faced by citizens, dolled out palliative funds to both worshipper’s and church leaders as way of support to ease transportation burden to praise, dance and worship God in their respective denominations on Sunday services.
Prosperity People’s Global Outreach, Hallelujah Deliverance Ministry International, Global Apostlic Soul Mission and other Church leaders and congregants were beneficiaries from this humble Nigerian’s gesture born from the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
Apart from this, there are also plans underway to equip more Nigerians resident in the state in various skills as a way of empowering them, given the level of deprivation occasioned by the harsh economic realities.
Mr. Roland is concerned, that religious leaders and their congregants served the Almighty God despise the challenges faced by many Christians across the country; a situation if left alone, some of them would find it difficult to cope while doing the Kingdom assignment.
This necessitated the humanitarian gesture, which he stressed will also help in stemming the wave of crime especially in the communities.
The convener is optimistic that in the nearest future, training of the beneficiaries in skills acquisition programmes with start- up for small scale businesses to make them self-sufficient will form part of his humanitarian activities.
Beneficiaries of the initiative expressed joy for being selected to be part of the goodwill.
