President Tinubu announces key appointment at NEXIM Bank
President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Ibrahim Gaga as the Executive Director of Corporate Services at the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM).
Mr. Gaga, a lawyer with over 25 years of experience in banking and legal services, previously served as the Board Secretary and Legal Adviser at NEXIM Bank.
The appointment is expected to bring renewed zeal and diligence to NEXIM Bank’s mandate, according to presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale.
Ngelale said Gaga will focus on providing finance, risk mitigation services, trade and market information, and export advisory services supporting Nigeria’s economic development agenda.
He said the president expects Gaga to use his new role to support the administration of President Tinubu, especially in its reform programmes.
