Addressing the challenges associated with subsidy removal, President Tinubu likened the situation to the pains of childbirth. He assured Nigerians that, just as the joy of a newborn erases the struggles of labor, the country will soon witness the end of post-subsidy difficulties.
Speaking at the second-term swearing-in ceremony of Governor Hope Uzodimma, President Tinubu highlighted the imminent improvements in public services and infrastructural development. He urged citizens to endure the current challenges, assuring them that the collective efforts would lead to a better future.
President Tinubu concluded, “Today, we are inaugurating a man’s second term, a renewed hope, and that is why I am here, to guarantee you that hope, that things are looking up, things are getting better and it will get greater and better for the common good of the Nigerian public. We just need to work hard, be more patient, persevere, and have consistency in governance.”
