Presidential Election: Tinubu won’t win after losing to Peter Obi in Lagos – Atiku’s camp
The camp of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has mocked the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu after he lost in Lagos State.
Reno Omokri, a close ally of Atiku, said Tinubu might not win the presidential election following his defeat in Lagos State by the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Obi defeated Tinubu in Lagos State after polling 582,354 votes while Tinubu had 572,606 votes.
The New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso polled 8,442.
However, Omokri tweeted: “How can Bola Tinubu still win this election, when he has lost his adopted state of Lagos, and his supposed state of Osun, and the seat of power, Abuja FCT?
“Well, miracles and magic are still possible. But the votes of Nigerians in #NigerianElections2023 must count.
“After all LEGAL and VALID votes are counted, it is my informed opinion that Waziri Atiku will win this election. The North has kept their words and has been noble.
“We only appeal to INEC to adhere to their own rules and procedures and upload results of #NigerianElections2023.
