Prince Isaac Amakuro Emerges PDP Candidate for Ogbia Ward 9 Councillorship Elections

Prince Isaac Amakuro has emerged as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ogbia Ward 9 councillorship elections.
The decision was reached after extensive consultations with key stakeholders and party leadership, in accordance with the internal zoning arrangement among the four communities of Kolo 1, 2, 3, and Amurukeni that make up Kolo Ward 9.
The nomination of Prince Isaac Amakuro was announced at a ceremony held at the PDP office in Yenagoa, which was attended by prominent party members and leaders, including Hon. Benjamin Marabhin, Chairman of PDP Ward 9; Hon. Afebo James, Youth Leader of PDP Ward 9; Hon. Mrs. Dolly Turnah, Member of Kolo Creek RDA; Hon. Progress Ederi, Vice Chairman of PDP Ward 9; and Hon. Mrs. Beauty Afebo, Current Serving Councillor of Ward 9 in Ogbia LGA CTC.

Hon. Benjamin Marabhin, speaking on behalf of the party, emphasized the importance of the nomination, stating that it reflects the party’s commitment to fairness and inclusivity. He expressed gratitude for the support and cooperation of party members and leaders in making the decision.
In his acceptance speech, Prince Isaac Amakuro expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to represent the PDP in the councillorship elections. He pledged to work tirelessly for the development of Ward 9 and the entire Ogbia Local Government Area if elected.
The emergence of Prince Isaac Amakuro as the PDP candidate for the Ogbia Ward 9 councillorship elections underscores the party’s commitment to selecting qualified and deserving candidates for elective positions.
