Prof. Brisibe Inaugurates Bayelsa Committee For National Health Fellows Programme

**commends President Tinubu, Gov. Diri on health reforms
The Honourable Commissioner, Bayelsa State Ministry of Health, Professor Seiyefa Brisibe has commended the President of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, and Senator Douye Diri, on their great ideas in reforming the nation’s health sector.
The Commissioner made the commendation while inaugurating the States’ Committee Members for the one-year National Health Fellows Programme in his office yesterday.
He said the National Health Fellows Program is aimed at creating a new wave of young leaders to help drive the change required in the Nigeria health sector stating that it will be achieved by attracting motivated young Nigerians and developing their skills in leadership, governance and public health through the one-year fellowship program.
The Commissioner inaugurated Dr. Marcus Oluwadare as Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Okoyen Ebikapaye was inaugurated as the Committee Secretary and other members as he charged them to follow the Presidential guidelines in ensuring a remarkable process in building Bayelsa youths through the program.
Prof. Brisibe called on Bayelsa youths to get involved through the online portal to develop their skills in leadership, governance and public health through the one-year National Health fellowship program.
