Prosperity @5: Governor Diri’s Medical Outreach Rounds Up At Akassa, Sangana, Bayelsa East

**As Health Commissioner tours facilities, assures health workers on support, commends gov. Diri

Prof. Seiyefa Brisibe, the Bayelsa State Commissioner for Health at the behest of the governor, was at Sangana, Akassa in Brass local government (Bayelsa East) to round up the 5th anniversary medical outreach by the prosperity government last week.

The Commissioner thanked the governor for his good, remarkable services leading health workers(surgeons) to Akassa, Sangana and other communities.

He described the governor as an intentional leader who derives pleasure only in moving the State forward.

Prof. Brisibe, his team upon arrival was received by the Brass local government Chairman, Hon. Lucky Febo and his vice, as they joined voices and thanked the Governor for coming to Minibie Kingdom, Akassa, Sangana communities to help the towns and the people at large.

On facility tour, the Commissioner visited, Buoama, Sangana, Akassa, Bekekiri and other health facilities, and took on the spot assessment, strengthening health workers on bringing more materials to the facilities whenever the need be.

Health workers showed great excitement seeing the Commissioner going round facilities amidst thick waves taking note of needed things, thanking the governor for coming to aid them as this time of need.

He assured the people also on Zipline drones health commodities continuous service delivery. In the medical outreach over 600 people were attended across the LGA and 13 successful surgeries were done.

The commissioner was joined by the Directors of the Health Ministry, Vice chairpersons of Nembe and Southern Ijaw, and other very top government functionaries as they thanked God Almighty for journey mercies back home.
