Qatar 2022: Really serious, wired – Emmanuel Petit worried about Arsenal star after dumping England

Former Arsenal star, Emmanuel Petit has expressed worries about Arsenal defender Ben White.

This is following a ‘really weird’ incident that happened at the World Cup in Qatar where the player dumped the England squad and flew back to the United Kingdom.

It was reported that White was sent home early after an alleged bust-up with England’s assistant boss Steve Holland.

“Ben White… What happened to him was really weird,” Petit told Mega Casino.

“He left the national team because he had an argument with someone? Come on, it’s a World Cup!”

Petit went further to state that due to the nature of the World Cup whatever made the 25-year-old leave England squad must be serious.

“If something happened, it must have been very serious for him to leave.

“We all know what it means to wear the national shirt. How will his state of mind be?

‘Will he be the same player after he took the big decision to leave the England squad?

“This is unprecedented in the history of football and I have no idea what will happen when the teams go back.
