Reactions As Corps Member Acquires Mercedes Benz With ‘6-Months NYSC Allowance’
A member of the National Youth Service Corp, NYSC, identified as Kenny Omomeji has stirred reaction online after revealing the car he acquired with his six-month allowance.
Kenny took to his Twitter account to share pictures of the 1994 Mercedes Benz 200E (W124), which he claimed was acquired with his six-month savings.
He wrote, “Thanks to NYSC, I just bought my first car!! I saved up my 6month allowance to get this Benz. Congratulations to me.”
However, some Nigerians in their reaction to the development condemned the corps member for acquiring the car, adding that he should have started a business with the fund.
Some others advised him to be ready to buy fuel, as the model of Benz consumes much fuel.
