While many have concluded that it was the best in the history of the country, Some have tagged it as the worst.
However, it is important to note that several cases relating to the process and outcome of the elections are currently at various courts across the nation
The chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has come out to explain why the electoral body has not been responding to all the comments on the outcome of 2023 general elections.
While speaking during at a meeting with the Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) in Abuja, on Tuesday, he gave four reasons according to VANGUARD NEWSPAPER. He said that they chose to listen more so as to learn lessons from public discussions.
He said another reason Is because they have already decided to plan their own review so they feel they do not have any reason to pre-empt the process. Third, Mahmood said that they do not want to be seen as defensive and lastly, the issues of the election are sub-judice and it is not the intention of the commission to either undermine or promote the chances of litigants.
