Reactions as Oyetola prays to be re-elected as Osun Governor

By Adeleye Kunle
Gboyega Oyetola, Governor of Osun, has prayed for re-election on Saturday, Track News reports.
Oyetola celebrated Sallah by praying at the Osogbo Central Eid prayer ground in Oke-Baale, Osogbo, over the weekend.
He urged residents to avoid statements that could incite violence and to reject any form of inducement during the election period.
He prayed for his return as Governor, noting that he will express his gratitude during the 2023 Sallah celebration.
“I implore everyone not to engage in violence during the upcoming election,” he says. We must not allow the election of our leaders to snowball into a crisis.
“I pray for a free and fair election that is free of violence.” Our state will see tremendous growth. I hope to be present at next year’s Sallah celebration as governor of the state.”
