Reactions As PDP Gives Old Woman Councillor Ticket In Sapele LGA (Photos)
PDP in a quest to encourage women into politics and to occupy certain positions gave an old woman councillor ticket in Sapele LGA ward 10.
The woman who was identified as Christiana Amitaye has been working with the People Democratic Party (PDP) since 1999, so it seems she’s being rewarded for her commitment to the party.
However, some youths were not happy with this development. They insisted that councillor position supposed to be given to younger people while mama can occupy the “women’s leader” position due to her old age.
