Reactions As Socialite Shares Petrol As Souvenir At Lagos Party

The sharing of petrol loaded in jerrycans as souvenirs during a party in Lagos State has stirred conversations on social media.
Tracknews report that a Lagos socialite, Pearl Chidinma Ogbolu had shared petrol as a souvenir at a party to celebrate her installation as the Erelu Okin of Orile Kemta Kingdom.
Pictures and videos showing the moment kegs of petrol with stickers “Erelu Okin Foundation Installation Party” were shared at the ceremony has gone viral.
The kegs of petrol were seen handed to guests at the party held at the Havillah Event Place, Oniru in Lagos.
In a statement on Saturday, the Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso said that the state government is investigating the development.
Nigerians have now taken to social media to slam the socialite for being insensitive to the plight of Nigerians and putting her guests who were at the party at risk.

About the party where kegs of petrol was shared as souvenir yesterday in Lagos that has gone viral.
Firstly, all guests were told at the entrance that smoking was not allowed in the hall, even when they did not know that they wanted to share petrol as souvenirs. pic.twitter.com/4zFA5tYkBW
