Remo Stars, Lobi Stars qualify for Naija Super Eight finals

Remo Stars thrashed South West rivals, Shooting Stars 3-0 at the Eket Township Stadium to seal a place in the Naija Super Eight playoffs.
Andy Okpe picked up a spill ball by Shooting Stars goalkeeper to slot home on seven minutes after good work from Seun Ogunribide.
It was 2-0 four minutes later with Boniface Nwaeze nodding home a deft corner kick from Ogunribide.
Samuel Anakwe added the third 14 minutes from time.
Lobi Stars picked the ticket to represent North Central zone in the competition after a thrilling 4-3 penalty shootout win against City FC.
The game ended in a 2-2 draw after 90 minutes.
In the shootout, Lobi Stars converted four kicks, while City FC netted thrice.
The Naija Super Eight finals is slated for July 7 to June 16 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos
