REVEALED/ PEREMABIRI KINGDOM AND THE SERIAKE DICKSON FACTOR

•••A PEACEFUL PEOPLE INSTIGATED AGAINST EACH OTHER

I woke up this morning to messages of a meeting held between the Bayelsa State government through the Deputy Governor Senator Lawrence Erudjakpo and the Chairmen of the 8 LGAs in the state.

In the said meeting, the issues of purported displaced persons from Peremabiri community was discussed.

While I’ll respond to the necessary issues, I’ll leave out the issue of criminals chasing people out from their community as to me, nobody has the power to chase anyone out of his own community.

Firstly, the world should note that Peremabiri is a peace loving community with loving people. The community has been in peace before the Government of Henry Seriake Dickson choose to instigate crisis in the community for obvious political reasons.

The Seriake Dickson government caused crisis in the community and later took the people they see as their tool of crisis to camp where they so desire for fear of the people revolting against supporters of tyranny.

The community learnt that their brothers and sisters has been turned into refugees at the Samson Siasia sports complex, as a loving people, the community tried to talk them back to the community but perhaps the free food had already gotten used to them.

Secondly, the government has been feeding their own babies out of necessity owning to the fact that they are seen as tools of the then government to cause division in the community and not because they are IDPs. As we all know, the Holy book says “a sinner runneth when no one pursueth”

It will interest the public to also note that two years ago, these said IDPs were forcefully taken to reunite with their brothers and sisters in the community by the then Local Gov’t Caretaker chairman but they left back to claim their IDPs status to continue in the free meal. Sadly though, only five persons are being paid one million naira (N1000,000)as against the number of persons they claim to be IDPs. These five persons feels the government is obligated to them so they instigated others in their bid to increase their numbers which inturn has impact on the allowances they receive. They are now living in the luxury of their Old Testament sponsors in government

Thirdly, while Peremabiri Community is in the list of most peaceful communities on the planet, the community is not bothered on the manner or choice of languages used by anyone to describe its sons. We are too matured in matters like this.

Conclusively, If the government so wished to continue from where their master, the almighty Henry Dickson stopped, we will accept them on the grounds of same norms but if they feel like doing the right thing to bring lasting peace among dwellers, the community will embrace everyone with open hands.
