Rivers Sole Administrator Ibas Attends NEC Meeting in Aso Rock

Vice President Kashim Shettima on Thursday presided over the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, with the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Ibok-Ete Ibas, making a surprise appearance.

Notably, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, who recently defected from the PDP to the APC, also attended, alongside governors from Benue, Kwara, Edo, and Cross River. Several deputy governors were also present.

The NEC, chaired by the Vice President, focuses on key economic matters affecting the nation.
