Rivers United battle Tanzania’s Young Africans for semi-final spot of CAF Confederation Cup

Rivers United has been pitted against Young Africans of Tanzania in the quarter-final of the CAF Confederation Cup.
This followed the draw for the knockout rounds of the competition at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football in Cairo, Egypt.
Rivers United will host the Tanzanian champions in the first leg in Uyo on Sunday, April 23.
The reverse fixture will be played a week later at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam.
Rivers United finished second in Group B while Young Africans topped their group.
The winner will face Egyptian club, Pyramids.FC or Marumo of South Africa in the semi-final.
No Nigerian club has yet won the CAF Confederation Cup since it started in 2004
