Robbers attack bullion van in Ondo, shoot policeman

A policeman was shot on Wednesday August 18, following an attack by gunmen on a bullion van at Emure-Ile in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Ondo State Police command’s spokesperson, Funmilayo Odunlami confirmed the attack, saying the armed robbers were disappointed after discovering that the van was empty.
Odunlami further disclosed that while a team of policemen has been deployed to the area to apprehend the armed robbers, the injured policeman is being treated at a nearby hospital.
