S/South Buhari Anti-Corruption Group Blasts Former NDDC Acting MD

•••Asks Her To Hide Face In Shame
ABUJA– The former acting Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Gbene Joy Nunieh, was on Monday berated over allegation that the Minister of Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio sacked her for refusing to take oath of secrecy.
Dr. Nunieh, who had described Akpabio as a pathological liar in an interview, added that the Minister of Niger Delta, wanted to compel her to swear to an oath of secrecy and loyalty.
Reacting to this development, the South South Buhari Anti-Corruption Group, told Nunieh that her sack is from the presidency and it has nothing to do with Akpabio.
The Anti-Corruption Group, in a statement by its President, Imafidon Peter Odion, said that her sacked was based on the findings against her, adding that the Minister didn’t influence the sack.
Recall Akpabio had said that Dr. Nunieh was sacked because she did not perform up to expectation by paying unverified contracts money running to billions of naira.
The anti-corruption group said that Nunieh should shut up because findings shown that there were so many inconsistency and misappropriation in the activities of NDDC when she acted as managing director.

The group said that it was unfortunate that Nunieh will pour venom on the Minister, when in actual sense, she was the architect of her misfortune.
The Anti-Corruption Group said: “There are so many inconsistencies and misappropriations in the activities of NDDC when Nunieh was the acting Managing Director. So much money couldn’t be accounted for. She should not accused the Minister of her misfortune, because her activities are known to the presidency, which gave directive for her sacked.”
