SAD: A Girl Was Raped To Death And Her Body Was Thrown Into Someone’s Compound In Lagos –Comedienne Princess Alleges
Agency Report
Nigerian Actress and Comedienne, Damilola Adekoya, commonly known as Princess has claimed that a young girl identified as Aisha was raped and killed in Ayobo area of Lagos State.
Princess raised the alarm in a video shared on her official instagram page on Monday. She disclosed that the incident happened on Sunday while the 10-year-old girl was on her way to church. She added that the 10-year-old’s body was later dumped by the perpetrators into someone’s compound.
Princess urged well-meaning Nigerians to visit Ayobo Police Station and support the mother of the victim, whom according to her wasn’t allowed to see her daughter’s body. The police allegedly told the mother that the body of the girl has been taken to the mortuary.
She said, “This girl was raped and killed yesterday. Her name is Aisha. Please, when you get to Ayobo Police Station, DM me your number. The police are not allowing the mother of the child to see the child. She is almost losing her mind.”
“I am begging you. It could be anyone’s child. She was just 10. She was going to church yesterday. They raped her and they killed her in the afternoon and threw her body into someone’s compound. Please, I beg you, help me. If you live around Ayobo, go to Ayobo Police station so they can allow this woman to at least see her child.”
Contacted by Punch News, the Divisional Police Officer of Ayobo Command did not give any information on the matter as he said the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Ben Hundeyin was in the right position to do so. The Lagos PPRO was however not reachable as at the time of the publication by Punch News.
