SAHCO Reiterates Support for War on Drugs

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Skyway Aviation Handling Company PLC (SAHCO) has stated that it will continue to support Nigeria’s efforts to combat the sale of illegal drugs.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), which is assigned to SAHCO’s import and export warehouses, is just one example of a government agency that the company’s managing director and CEO, Basil Agboarumi, said has well-trained staff that is equipped to know what to look out for before accepting cargo in accordance with global best practices.
Agboarumi also emphasized that SAHCO, a significant import and export gateway in Nigeria, has some of the greatest warehouses in West Africa that are also bondable by the Customs. The state-of-the-art warehouses are being built with the interests of the customers in mind. They are also being built to keep our clients’ trust by preventing clients of dubious companies from using SAHCO’s warehouses as entry points for their nefarious activities.
He emphasized that SAHCO has a campaign called “See Something, Say Something, Do Something” in which all staff members are trained to always draw attention to dubious behavior and corrupt practices.
He emphasized that SAHCO has a long history of supporting the government agencies stationed at every location where SAHCO conducts business by granting them unrestricted access to all areas of both import and export warehouses and by providing the necessary scanning equipment and other screening technologies to support the operations of NDLEA and other government agencies.
