Saheed Osupa Drops Defamation Case Against Portable, Sets Conditions

Fuji star Saheed Osupa has withdrawn his defamation lawsuit against singer Portable, citing compassion and public appeals.

In a statement by his media aide, Osupa said the case was initially filed over intellectual property violations and defamatory remarks but has now been dropped following interventions from notable Nigerians and Portable’s inability to meet bail conditions.

However, the withdrawal is conditional. Portable must publicly retract his threats, admit his lawyer’s apology claim was false, and sign an undertaking to stop cyberbullying and defamation.

Failure to comply may see the case reinstated.
