SALGA VICE CHAIRMAN CONDEMNS APC FOR FIELDING EKEREMOR CANDIDATE FOR BYE-ELECTION
TRACKING____ The vice chairman of Sagbama local government area, Hon. Emmanuel Okosikeme has lampooned the representatives of APC who appeared on a radio programme last Saturday.
The men in the course of the programme discountenance the existing political agreement of zoning the national assembly elective offices between Sagbama and Ekeremor local government areas.
Hon. Okosikeme was piqued by the fact that men deliberately engaged in misinforming and distorting the truth they presented before the public and the radio listners by denying that there was no existing agreement between both local governments. That is a blatant lie from the pit of hell.
The vice Chairman observed that it is wicked and devilish to claim that there was no agreement between both parties forgetting that three months ago, the leadership of ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS APC and PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY PDP met in Sagbama to cement the zoning agreement which was collectively agreed by all stakeholders of both parties.
He has reiterated the fact that the PDP candidate, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson, a seasoned politician and former Governor of Bayelsa State is not by any means afraid to go for the west senatorial district election slated for 31st October.
Hon. Dickson will dust any candidate presented by the opposion because of his visionary leadership qualities, transparency, accountability and his ability to galvanise the grassroots for effective governance, he asserted.
Hon. Okosikeme went further to hint that the former Governor is the most suitable to occupy the seat of the Senator Representing Bayelsa West because he is a passionate and patriotic man who understands the yearning and aspirations of Ijaw nation.
The vice chairman has advised all voters from the two local government areas to come out enmass and vote for the PDP candidate so that the zone will continue to maintain its usual status quo.
He added that Ekeremor is already occupying the House of Representative and it will be unfair to allow Ekeremor to again contest the Senatorial seat. It was agreed that the APC should present a qualified candidate from Sagbama LGA.
