SALGA Youth, STUDENTS ENDORSE OKOSIKEME FOR CHAIRMAN

TRACKING>> The political camp of the chairman hopeful for Sagbama Local Government elections come 27th May 2019 , Hon Okosikeme Emmanuel gathered a green momentum as different student groups across the state identify and gave their unalloyed endorsement for his ambition of becoming the chairman of Sagbama LGA Bayelsa state under the people’s democratic party PDP.

The newest amongst them is coming from the president and executives of the umbrella body of all Bayelsa state Students NUBSS Worldwide Comr. Benjamin Ebimobowei and the president of all Izonebe students worldwide (NUIS) Comr Romeo Kemepadei.

The students leaders of both unions while expressing their stand state thus ” we as Students leaders of Bayelsa state in NUBSS and NUIS worldwide, deemed it fit within us without second thought that indeed, today is a day we are celebrating the late Hero of Ijaw Nation Late Major Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro who in his wisdom offered selfless service to the struggle that gave us River State of toady, Bayelsa state of today etc hence, while jubilating him, we thought it wise unanimously after due consultations with affiliated student groups that we should pay courtesy to you Comr Emmanuel Okosikeme who we call #Studentsdaddy and endorse you for the Chairmanship position of Sagbama Area Council come 27th July 2019 as we plead with the Governor Hon Henry Seriake Dickson led PDP to give you the opportunity to serve because, your becoming the chairman of Salga will not just benefit the student unions in Sagbama LGA but, the entire Bayelsa state and Izonebe at large for your track records of free schorlaship for students, and undaunted support for students activities across board is visible for everyone to see as many of our union members are beneficiaries to your scholarships in NDU, FUOTUOKE, IJBCOE,UNIPORT, DELSU,etc which instigated our support and endorsement for your ambition as a roadmark for other leaders to emulate”.

Hon Okosikeme in his brief remarks, appreciated the various students groups for the adoration and confidence reposed on him which according to him” is a step to do more for the students anywhere I find myself in politics or outside politics “.

In a unanimously voice , the different student unions passed a vote of confidence on Comr Emmanuel Okosikeme as they urged him never to relent in doing more for the students across Bayelsa state.
