Saraki congratulates Nigeria’s D’Tigers for beating Argentina 94-71

D’Tigers had defeated Team USA in a stunning performance on Saturday.
Team Nigeria dominated with a 94-71 win over fourth ranked Argentina.
Saraki in a post via his Twitter page commended D’Tigers on their 23-point win against Argentina.
He stated that the nation’s men’s basketball team, who over the weekend became the first African side to defeat the United States of America, continue to make the entire nation proud.
He tweeted: “Another inspiring performance by D’Tigers (@NigeriaBasket) on the road to the #TokyoOlympics! Well done guys, you keep making the entire nation proud!”
Saraki, who is an avid basketball fan, has over the years advocated for more sporting opportunities for young Nigerians, stating that Nigeria needs a concerted effort to boost its sporting economy and grow new talents.
