Sen. Akpabio swear in Natasha As Kogi Central Senator

ABUJA – The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, on Thursday, swore in Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as the Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District.
The swearing-in took place during plenary.
Senator Akpabio’s action was sequel to the administration of the oath of office on her by the Clerk of the Senate, Mr. Chinedu Akubueze.
Senator Natasha replaces Senator Abubakar There who was sacked by thr Court of Appeal.
After the oath of office, the new Kogi Central proceeded to have a handshake with the Senate President who handed over to her a copy of the Senate Standing Rules.
She was later led to her seat by the sergeant at arms after exchange of pleasantries with her colleagues.
The Senate also screened and confirmed the remaining Resident Electoral Commissioner nominees.
