Senator Victor Umeh Dumps APGA, Joins Peter Obi In Labour Party
A former national chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Senator Victor Umeh has dumped the party for the Labour Party (LP).
Recall that APGA had denied Umeh its ticket to contest for the Anambra Central senatorial district seat for the 2023 general elections.
According to Vanguard, there is ongoing primary of LP in Awka where Umeh is expected to be nominated as the candidate of the party for Anambra Central.
Umeh will contest for Anambra Central seat in the Senate against Senator Uche Ekwunife of PDP, Dozie Nwankwo of APGA and Kodilichukwu Okelekwe of APC.
Recall that the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi , who resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has picked the presidential ticket of LP.
