Shock As Bandits Attack Oyo Police, Kills Two

Some terrorists have attacked the Igangan Police station in Ibarapa North Local Government Area (LGA) of Oyo State on a Tuesday deadly invasion.
Track News Nigeria learnt that the Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) and a suspect who was in detention were gunned down while the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), an Inspector and some suspects are in critical condition due to gunshot wounds.
When contacted, the Police Spokesperson in the State, Adewale Osifeso, told Track News Nigeria that he has confirmed the incident.
His words: “The Commissioner of Police, CP, is on his way to the place. We are already in Oke Ogun as we speak.
Criminal groups have freshly increased their assaults despite military operations against their hideouts that are scattered in the vast forests straddling the north and south of Nigeria.
Track News Nigeria says that the Federal Government has been under deep pressure to end insecurity before President Muhammadu Buhari leaves office next year at the end of his two terms in power.
