By Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed.
Mr. Olujimi Fafowora, a scholar from Nigeria, has graduated with a full first-class honours degree at the University of Oxford in England.
TrackNews learnt that the 21-year old chap came out summa cum laude in mathematics at St. Peter’s College, Oxford.
Recall our earlier report that he was appointed a Fellow of the College and will remain at Oxford for another year pursuing his post-graduate studies.
Our correspondent, Mr. Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed, says Fafowora would now become the second Nigerian to have ever made a first at Oxford.
He is the grandson to a Commonwealth Scholar at Trinity College from 1969-72, Amb Fafowora and Mrs Dapo Fafowora.
“Before Oxford, he was at Haberdashers College, a private school in London, from where he obtained nine distinctions on his O levels, and four A levels distinctions. We are very proud of him,” a report from the school noted.
