Sit-at-home: Why Peter Obi’ll be weak in tackling Boko Haram, ISWAP – Omokri
By Adeleye Kunle
Nigerians have been cautioned against voting for the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, because he would be weak in confronting insurgency.
A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, said Obi would be too weak to confront Boko Haram and ISWAP if elected president in 2023.
Omokri explained that the LP’s presidential candidate’s decision to obey the sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, shows that he would be weak against Boko Haram and ISWAP.
In a tweet, Omokri wrote: “Nigeria does not need a Commander-in-Chief like Peter Obi. Because, a man who religiously obeys IPOB’s sit-at-home orders, and even schedules his campaign rallies to avoid any event on Monday in the Southeast, is obviously too weak to stand up to Boko Haram or ISWAP.
