Six killed as ISWAP infiltrate a Boko Haram stronghold on Sunday.

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Fighters from the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) reportedly attacked Boko Haram enclaves over the weekend, killing six people.
According to Track News, the attack is a continuation of their ongoing rivalry following the decision of the ISIS-backed ISWAP faction to withdraw from Boko Haram.
According to reports, ISWAP stormed the home of Boko Haram insurgents in Gajibo, a town 95 kilometers northeast of Maiduguri, Borno state capital, and slaughtered six people they labeled “infidels.”
According to an intelligence source, the attackers also recovered five AK 47 rifles from Boko Haram terrorists, according to Zagazola Makama, a Counter-Insurgency expert and Security Analyst in Lake Chad.
In its long-running feuds, ISWAP carried out numerous successful attacks against Boko Haram terrorists, resulting in massive casualties and loss of war assets for the group.
As the revolting ISWAP had vowed to battle more with members of its former main body than with Nigerian troops, the worsening inter-rivalry clashes between jihadist groups may lead to irreversible self-destruction.
