Soludo’s inauguration will take 20mins with only 50 people in attendance: Adinuba

The Anambra State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, C Don Adinuba has said that only twenty minutes will be put into the inauguration ceremony of the Governor-elect, Prof Charles Soludo on March 17, 2022
He said that the era of hosting large crowd with ostentatious fanfare that is synanimous with inauguration of new governors in the state is over.
Adinuba said that Soludo would be kicking off with his work duties immediately after inauguration with a visit to Okpoko slum in Ogbaru Local Government Area of the state.
While noting that only fifty people would be invited to the event, the Commissioner added, “There is no room for an elaborate celebration because there would be only 50 persons that would be in attendance at the inauguration.
“Of course, there will be family members, party and officials who will be served finger foods, water and beverages.
“As a matter of fact, the entire ceremony would last for about twenty minutes and the governor would commence work immediately at Okpoko town in Ogbaru Local Government Area on that day.”
Confirming the Commissioner’s position, a media assistant to Soludo, Mr Joe Anatune said that the commissioner may be right in what he is saying because there will be no time to waste after the inauguration.
He said, “This inauguration will be different. One thing that is certain is that it will mark a change of power without the usual fanfare.”
