Sorrow As Lagos-Business Tycoon Gunned Down In Kwara

Some unknown men with guns have killed a Lagos based businessman, Mr. Biola Osundiya.
Track News Nigeria learnt that Biola deliberately came to the city to pay a visit to his family members in Ilorin before he met his waterloo.
Biola was reportedly trailed to a Bar joint around Kwara State Center for Art and Culture, Sawmail area, Ilorin around 6PM on Wednesday by his assailants on a motorcycle, shot him amply at a close quarters and sped off.
An eye witness who spoke with Our Correspondent told Track News Nigeria that Biola in his early 40s, was in the company of a girl, said to be his “Mistress” who was having conversation with some persons on the phone regarding their location when the assailants were seen.
According to the source: “He was shot by two men who traced him to the spot on motorbike and left in the pool of his blood thereafter. He was initially based in Ilorin, Kwara State where his two wives and children still resides but recently relocated to Lagos to start cement business.”
When contacted, Segun, who is a younger brother to the business tycoon, told Track News Nigeria that the ugly demise has left his family and friends devastated and urged the security operatives to embark on a search for the the perpetrators so that they will be brought to book.
Segun said this while confirming the incident to Track News Nigeria in a telephone conversation.
When reached today, Ajayi Okasanmi, the spokesperson of the Kwara Police Command, confirmed the incident to Track News Nigeria, assuring that the police are still on the trail of the killers.
“We can’t say for now whether the killing was cultist or business related, but an AK 47 ammunition was recovered from the scene and we are working to establish those behind it. But no arrest has been made for now.”
