Southeast and Southsouth youths start mobilizing for Tinubu.

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
A coalition of youth groups from the Southsouth and Southeast backed All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu yesterday.
According to the Southsouth, Southeast Coalition for Tinubu (SSET), his public service records place him ahead of others in the race for the presidency in 2023.
As a result, SSET has pledged to work towards the former Lagos State governor’s election victory by mobilizing 10 million votes for him in the Southsouth and Southeast.
These were stated by the coalition’s Deputy Youth Leader, Mark Mark, Nnamdi Ofonye, Victor Sorokwu, and Akiba Ekpeyong in Port Harcourt, Asaba, and Calabar.
Also yesterday, Femi Adekanmbi, a former Ondo State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, said the composition of the APC Presidential Campaign Council indicated Tinubu would win the presidential election by a wide margin.
Salihu Lukman, APC National Vice-Chairman (Northwest), said in Abuja that Tinubu’s “consistency, integrity, and trust” put him ahead of his opponents in the promotion of democracy in the country and the presidential election in 2023.
According to Mark, the coalition decided to support Tinubu because of his competence, experience, support for youths, and penchant for discovering and empowering talents.
He went on to say that SSET had already begun house-to-house sensitization to dispel lies and misinformation about the APC candidate.
Despite the activities of “ethnic bigots and religious fundamentalists,” Mark believes Tinubu is the best candidate for the presidency at “this critical moment in our history.”
“Tinubu’s foundation in Lagos and his economic blueprint are visible even to the blind,” he says. We recall how he stood up to the military and fought for the democracy we have today.
“Tinubu is a brave man, and we know he is the only one who can address the insecurity that is currently ravaging the country.” Tinubu is the only one who truly cares about young people. He understands how to foster an environment conducive to youth employment.
“Our coalition is currently infiltrating the grassroots to spread the Tinubu gospel.” Our membership is growing by the day, and our goal is to provide the APC Presidential candidate with at least 10 million votes in the South and Southeast.
“The Tinubu/Shettima Presidency is one that some of us have been looking forward to with great anticipation,” he said. Bola Tinubu possesses the potential to make Nigeria great.
“Looking at his past records as former Lagos State governor, he has exercised considerable political clout and played a significant role in national development despite being out of power since 2003.” He is still mentoring leaders in strategic positions of governance. He is a foresighted man who is not afraid to make difficult decisions.”
Ofonye argued that the controversy over the Muslim-Muslim ticket would have no negative impact on the APC presidential candidate’s chances in the 2023 election.
“We are not moved by the outcries,” he said. I am a devout Catholic, but a country in desperate need of development requires a capable leader like Bola Tinubu.
“We must minimize these sentiments.” Tinubu has demonstrated himself to be a liberal. There is no better proof of this than the fact that he is married to a Christian pastor.”
