Sowore blasts Presidency, labels Buhari ‘demented’

TRACKING___Renowned journalist and proprietor of SaharaReporters, Omoyele Sowore, has taken a hard swipe at President Muhummadu Buhari, labeling the Nigerian President as demented.Mr Sowore made this claim as he took to his twitter handle to share a picture of President Buhari handing the APC flag to Pastor Ize Iyamu, the Edo State APC Gubernatorial candidate, endorsing the clergyman as the flag bearer for the polls.READ ALSO: Fake Army Major arrested in Delta State (Photos)Mr Sowore described it a disgrace, for the President to endorse Mr Iyamu despite an ongoing financial malfeasance case hovering over his head.

Daily Times had earlier reported that the President and Pastor Ize Iyamu met earlier in the day, ostensibly to strengthen ties as the APC heads towards the polls come September to wrestle back the seat of power from Godwin Obaseki and the PDP.Mr Iyamu also confirmed this on his Twitter handle where he announced his official endorsement by the Presidency.Yele Sowore in recent weeks has been fiercely vocal, launching scathing verbal attacks at the Presidency, particularly through his inspired RevolutionNow protest. He has however thrown fists from the shadows as the circumstances of his release prevents him from participating in mass gatherings.
