AFCON 2023: Simon claims Man of the Match after win against Guinea-Bissau

Moses Simon was named Man of the Match following Nigeria’s 1-0 victory against Guinea-Bissau.
Simon was handed his first start of the competition in the game.
The Nantes winger’s cross was diverted into the net for Nigeria’s only goal of the game nine minutes before the end of the first half.
The 28-year-old was replaced by Ademola Lookman late in the game.
The Super Eagles finished second in Group A with six points from two games.
They will face the second place team in Group C in the Round of 16.
