The five top players for the Ballon d’Or winner this year have been revealed.
The Ballon d’Or remains the most coveted individual award for football players and is presented by French news magazine ‘France Football’.
The most prestigious individual prize in football is now given to the best performing footballer in a season
The winner is selected by a panel of international journalists, national team captains and coaches.
