EPL: I won’t swap him for anyone in the world – Yorke warns Man Utd against selling top star
Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke has warned the club against letting their first-choice goalkeeper, David De Gea leave Old Trafford.
There are indications that Erik ten Hag does not want the Spanish goalkeeper at Old Trafford anymore following some costly mistakes in recent games.
Yorke believes that De Gea is still one of the best in the world and has urged Erik ten Hag not to sign David Raya.
Some reports in England claim that the former Ajax coach wants a new shot-stopper and has set sights on a couple of Premier League stars.
Yorke told King Casino Bonus that he would not swap the former Spain international for anyone in the world.
“I have not seen any outstanding goalkeepers that are far greater than David de Gea, so I wouldn’t swap him for anyone at the moment, even with the mistakes he’s made recently. I really don’t think there are many better goalkeepers in the world than De Gea.
“Is David Raya better than De Gea? I don’t think so.”
The Spaniard has made four huge errors in recent games, including the howler during their Europa League quarter-final clash against Sevilla in Spain that led to the Red Devils crashing out of the competition
