NTTF South-South Region Rededicates Commitment To Talent Development

The Chairman of the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF) South South Region, Mr. Ama-ebi Stow, has reaffirmed the region’s unwavering commitment to cultivating future table tennis stars.

In a statement delivered at the 4th Edition of the Offiong Edem Mini Tournament held in Calabar, Cross River State, Mr. Stow emphasized that talent development is the cornerstone of ensuring the sport’s long-term prosperity. He underlined the importance of fostering a seamless transition between generations of players, preventing any potential gaps.

Mr. Stow commended the organizers of the tournament, acknowledging its significant contribution to fostering table tennis within the region. The NTTF South South Region, according to Mr. Stow, has designed a support system that offers players access to formal education, which has already proven advantageous for regional athletes.

Expressing his satisfaction with the level of preparation displayed by South South players in the lead-up to the National Sports Festival in Ogun State, Mr. Stow predicted a surge of medals for the region in the table tennis competition.
