Super Eagles’ goalie Nwabali gets N1.9bn price tag
South African side Chippa United have placed a €2m ( N1.9bn) price tag on Super Eagles goalie, Stanley Nwabali, according to reports coming out DSTV Premiership.
Nwabali has been one of the standout performers for three-time African champs at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

At the last count, the 27-year-old has three clean sheets in four outings for the Eagles in the competition and not forgetting his impressive displays for Chippa United this term.
Intrestingly, Union St Gilloise of Belgian Pro League, are reportedly leading the chase for Nwabali.
However, the goalie is a major doubt for Nigeria’s AFCON 2023 quarter-final clash with Angola on Friday after cropping a knee injury in Nigeria’s victory over Cameroon in last 16 round.
