World Record: Bayelsa Commissioner Hails Tobi Amusan

Hon. Daniel Igali, the Commissioner for Youth and sports Development in Bayelsa State, has sent his congratulatory message to Tobi Amusan, the Nigeria’s ‘almost girl’ who now rules the world with her new feat.Amusan, the first Nigerian athlete to win a gold medal in the World Athletics, first ran a blistering 12:12 seconds to shatter the world record of 12:20 seconds set by Kendra Harrison of U.S. in the semi-finals.A statement credited to the Hon.
