Sule Lamido: Reasons why APC time is up
In Jigawa State, the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has warned the state’s ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) that its days are numbered.
According to Track News, the PDP’s governorship candidate in the state, Dr. Mustapha Sule Lamido, has stated that the APC will not return to power after the 2023 general election.
According to him, the APC has done nothing to improve the state or the country.
He stated that all they have done is cause untold hardships and difficulties for Nigerians.
Lamido was quoted as saying this at the launch of the party’s general election campaign in Dutse, the state capital, in 2023.
He also claimed that the PDP is the only party willing to provide solutions to the country’s problems, and that the APC’s dominance in the state and the country will end in 2023.
According to the Jigawa PDP governorship candidate, the large crowd at the campaign launch demonstrated that the people of Jigawa State had already made up their minds.
