Swearing-In Anyone On May 29 Is Like Announcing The Final Result Of A Match In The Middle-Igbo Group

An Igbo socio-cultural group has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari not to allow the swearing-in of another government until the Court has announced the winner
In a video that is currently circulating online, leader of the group, while speaking during a press conference said that trying to Inaugurate another government when the case is still in court is like announcing the winner of the match when the match is halfway
He said ” Since the 1999 constitution of Nigeria as amended in 2022 allows anyone aggrieved after the announcement by INEC to go to court to determine the winner of an election, it means that no one should be sworn in before the apex court pronounce anyone who is the true winner in its own opinion. It requires that until the Court pronounces who the true winner is, the election is only midway and not yet over. Swearing in anyone as the winner of the election is premature and nothing other than announcing the result of a match in the middle of the match. The match will only end when the Apex court announces the Winner. We hereby appeal to the president to swear in only the person announced as the winner by the Apex court
