Tales of hardships trail Bayelsa’s flood scene

BY: Mohammed Taoheed
Following the plague of flood in Bayelsa State, filling stations are now hitting a high sum of #415 per litre.
Hon. Ogidi Ben Bara, the Chief Executive Officer of the TrackNews Nigeria, raised the alarm after he brought some fuel at the early hours of Saturday at a filling station owned by the Bayelsa State Petroleum Task Chairman.
According to the petroleum laws, the petroleum task chairman is required to monitor all the stations in the state and work on thier price controls to ensure a satisfactory service delivery.
But taking the advantage of the flood scene, the oil stations are now selling at a higher price which could not be afforded by the ordinary citizens.
