Terrorism: “Service Chiefs Are Working On It”– Buhari

By: Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, the president of the federation, has said that he has called on the Service Chiefs to come up with everlasting solution to the incessant insecurity crisis battling the country.
The President made this known as his reaction to the murder of the brother and abduction of a sister of former Adamu Muazu, the National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Track News Nigeria gathered this order in a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media Relations, Mallam Garba Shehu.
Buhari also added that the security of the country is his constant concern, assuring all those affected by terrorism he would do everything to ensure those whom he described as enemies of humanity are crushed.
In the words of Buhari: “Security is my constant concern and I have kept the service chiefs on their toes to ensure that they come up with a decisive solution to end this menace.”
While reacting to the ugly occurrence that plagued the Muazu’s family, the President expressed: “I am shocked and outraged by the story of the killing of your brother and the abduction of your sister by bandits. This double tragedy is particularly moving. I know it’s hard to cope with the weight of this tragedy in your family. I feel your pain.
“Let me use this opportunity to re-assure you and other Nigerians currently facing threats from the atrocities of the bandits that I will leave no stone unturned to ensure these enemies of humanity are finally crushed and decisively defeated.”
He offered a prayer to God that: “to forgive the soul of the deceased and grant the family fortitude to overcome this double tragedy.”
