Terrorists kidnap over 30 people in Kaduna.
By Adeleye Kunle
Thirty residents of Keke, a community near Kaduna’s Millennium City, were reportedly kidnapped by terrorists in a Monday night attack.
Malam Haliru Lere, a resident, told journalists yesterday that the hoodlums stormed the community around 8:30 p.m., when many residents were returning home from work.
“They came during the heavy rain last night,” he explained. They took many people with them, including women and children.

“This is the fourth time they’ve attacked our community.” Some members of our community are still held captive as a result of previous attacks.
“They demanded N30 million, which was given to them, but they refused to release the previously held captives, demanding ten motorcycles.”
“They killed three of the earlier captives and disposed of their bodies.” They have now chosen more members of our community. They have not yet made a demand.
“They went from house to house, picking people for about two hours.” My friend, who had previously fled and hidden, overheard them telling his family members that the family would have been spared if he had not fled.
“When he heard that and realized he had a pregnant wife, he surfaced and presented himself to the terrorists, who whisked them all away.”
“The soldiers tried again this time because they were only 30 minutes away.” Unfortunately, they moved to Keke A first, while the terrorists were in the Keke B section of the community.”
