Hon. Ekisah Thank Bayelsans as Gov. Diri takes oath of office Today 14th. February 2024.
Hon. Ekisah Sinkumo the commissioner for special project has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Senator Douye Diri the governor of Bayelsa state and his deputy Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo as they prepare to take the oath of office today for their second term as the governor and deputy governor of Bayelsa State.
This he said in his congratulatory message to the number one Bayelsa State citizen, Governor Douye Diri, and his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ehwurujakpo who will be sworn into office today 14th February, 2024.
He explained that the journey for a more better Bayelsa State begins in few hours
In his congratulatory message sent to TrackNews Hon. Ekisah who is the Honourable commissioner for special project is anticipating to see galaxy of dignitaries from all walks of life who be converged at the Samson Siasia stadium, Yenagoa, being venue for the Inauguration.
Hon. Ekisah highlighted that some caliber of men and women would emptied in Bayelsa to celebrate Diri’s second term enthronement, describing it as first in history.
The commissioner affirmed that Douye has paid his dues in the selfless service to all Bayelsans to Communities and to the Nation.
Hence, attributed such qualities as rare, only akin to leaders of worth and integrity.
The Hon commissioner in continuation of his felicitation note remarked that Diri’s first outing was worthwhile.

Adding that it was a tenure Bayelsans should be proud of regardless of the global economic downturn orchestrated by insecurity.
“I am hopeful that the next four years of our amiable governor shall continue to bring forth good tidings and the best for Bayelsa People.
“Once again, thanking Bayelsans for giving him the mandate to be re-elected in office for accelerated development of our State.
“Without mincing words, it was a very resourceful four years. Bayelsa State witnessed a massive development and growth in all facets. Under the first tenure, Bayelsa was turned into a construction site. Governor Douye Diri made it so, to the extent that other governors used to visit to borrow a leaf from him.
“He is a man of many parts, a unifier, with milk of kindness flowing in him. Congratulations, the miracle governor, may your light never dim!
“May God’s guidance filled with wisdom and good health be with our dear peaceful and resourceful governor as he steers the ship of the State to greater glory”, he prayed,
He further ceased the opportunity to thank the governor for the opportunity granted him to serve in his government and becoming a part of the success history, even as he reassured of his undiluted loyalty.
To the opposition parties in the Court, he asked them to consider the well-being of Bayelsa, rather than self aggrandizement.
To the rest of Bayelsans at home and in the Diaspora, Hon. Ekisah enjoined them to join hands with the governor in the realization of the lofty goals of making Bayelsa State outstanding in the comity
of States.
