Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Cooperation and Integration in Africa/NEPAD, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Enugu East, has described a $41.8 million dollar judgment against him in the United States as a ruse.

In a statement issued yesterday, the former Enugu State governor stated that the report is false and intended to discredit him due to his opposing views on recent political developments in the country.

“Campaign of slander, intimidation, insults, and abuse orchestrated to silence and diminish my voice,” he said. My voice, on the other hand, will become louder and more persistent.

“I am aware that my recent position will be attacked by those who cannot tolerate opposing viewpoints.” Democracy allows for different points of view. Who will speak up and take a stand if I do not?

“There was no such decision anywhere.” Samuel Ogundipe, the author of the fake news, is a known blackmailer. Samuel Ogundipe’s story with Air Peace Airlines is still fresh in our minds. I’m not surprised that Ogundipe has once again offered himself as a willing tool for this hatchet job.”
