Three dead, 9 others injured in Bauchi lone auto crash

Two male adults and a female child in the early minutes of Monday lost their lives in a fatal lone auto crash at Gada Data village on the Bauchi-Kano road in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
Nine other passengers of a Hummer bus carrying 22 passengers sustained varying degrees of injuries in the accident, which was said to have occurred at about 12:13am.
According to the crash report released by the Bauchi Sector of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the commercial hummer bus is with the registration number: GKA519 XA.
The report indicated that the accident was reported to the Corps 10 minutes after it occurred, adding that Road Safety personnel were immediately deployed to the scene for a rescue operation.
It added that the operatives rushed the victims: five male adults, three female adults, two male children and two female children to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH), Bauchi, where the deceased were confirmed dead by a doctor.
Those injured, according to the report, were three male adults, three female adults, two male children and one female child.
It then stated that the remains of the deceased were deposited at the ATBUTH mortuary, adding that they would be released to their relatives for burial
