Tinubu 2023: Project 37 launches campaigns in 774 local government areas

By Adeleye Kunle
Project 37 for Tinubu-Shettima, a political support group, claims to have launched campaigns in all 774 local government areas in the country.
According to Project 37, the move will ensure the election of Senators Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima as president and vice president in 2023.
Project 37 is an All Progressives Congress (APC) political support group that is campaigning for Tinubu and Shettima’s election in next year’s general election.
Mr Mark Nsimbehe, the group’s National Coordinator, said in an Abuja statement on Thursday that Project 37 had also activated its political support base in all 36 states and the FCT.
“As a group of like-minded individuals ready to restore Nigeria to her rightful place, we have activated our political support base in all 36 states and the FCT.”
“We have also taken our campaigns to all 774 local government areas to ensure that our goal is met.”
Nsimbehe, who congratulated Shettima of the North East on being chosen as Tinubu’s running mate, stated that the former banker’s selection was an added advantage to the campaign.
He stated that the selection of Shettima from a region ravaged by Boko Haram terrorists was an indication of Tinubu-candidacy Shettima’s to end the country’s insurgency.
He also stated that despite the devastation caused by Boko Haram insurgents, Shettima’s achievements as governor of Borno were visible to all.
“Shettima was able to rebuild many destroyed schools and homes, and he ensured that internally displaced people returned to their homes.”
“Indeed, our great party APC’s choice is commendable and has been welcomed by many Nigerians.”
“Project 37 is a national political support group mandated to support and work towards the realization of Tinubu-presidency Shettima’s in the upcoming general election.”
According to him, Tinubu’s economic knowledge and Shettima’s banking knowledge will help propel the country to economic prosperity.
Tinubu’s accomplishments as governor of Lagos State, he added, made the state financially stable and viable, with an unprecedented Internally Generated Revenue.
Nsimbehe frowned at the unjustified criticism of the party’s Muslim-Muslim ticket, adding that in order for Nigeria to progress, Nigerians should only be concerned with competence and ignore religious sentiments.
